Who this notice covers
Real Independency Living Care L.L.C. (“RILC,” “we,” or “us”) provides this notice for information submitted through this website or sent directly to a website contact address. It covers website inquiries and the protected employment-application process, not future individual service records, payroll, clinical, background-check, or employee records governed by separate processes and notices.
This website is not an individual portal, medical-record system, incident-reporting channel, or emergency service. The employment-application page submits only the listed application fields, one PDF résumé, and an optional PDF professional certificate to restricted RILC Google Workspace storage.
Current website state
The current website lists professional email links for general information, service-fit questions, general careers questions, and privacy requests. Its employment application validates the entered information and selected PDF files before securely sending them to the restricted RILC Careers process.
- Professional email remains the general-contact route
- Application information is sent only after the applicant selects Submit application
- No nonessential analytics or advertising trackers
- No public applicant profile or website account
- Résumé and application records are stored in restricted RILC Google Workspace, not attached to applicant email
- No claim that email is a HIPAA-compliant record channel
Information received through direct email
A visitor may email their own name, reply address, general topic, and a short non-confidential question to the information address.
A visitor may identify their role, a service pathway, Regional Center context, city or county, and a short general question without identifying the person who may receive services.
A visitor may use the listed channel for a general careers question. The application page may collect the applicant’s own contact information, optional street address, qualifications, availability, work history, optional references, one PDF résumé, and an optional PDF professional certificate.
RILC receives the sender’s email address, display name, message, ordinary delivery metadata, and anything the sender attaches. Keep first contact general and do not attach confidential records.
Visitors should not email the name or records of a person who may receive services. RILC will identify an appropriate process if additional authorized information is later needed.
Technical security and anti-abuse data
The hosting platform and network providers may process ordinary technical request information needed to serve and protect the website, such as requested pages, timestamps, browser or device information, and network identifiers, subject to their own terms and settings.
The application process uses same-site request checks, an empty-field bot trap, short-lived rate limits, strict field and file validation, an active-content safety check, signed server-to-server transfer, and a unique application ID. After confirmed storage, the applicant email is used for a separate receipt acknowledgment and may later be used for human recruitment follow-up. The acknowledgment includes no résumé, private Drive link, reference, application answer, or sensitive identifier. A raw network address is used transiently to create a pseudonymous rate-limit bucket and is not stored as part of the application.
RILC does not intentionally place application answers, attachments, raw IP addresses, access tokens, or provider secrets in the website database or application logs. The website database contains only temporary anti-abuse counters.
Why information is used
- Route a general question to the appropriate RILC business function
- Understand which ILS or SLS pathway a visitor is asking about
- Reply through professional email
- Review general future talent interest when a real operational need exists
- Address privacy or accessibility questions
- Protect the website, mailboxes, visitors, and RILC from abuse or delivery failure
A website inquiry does not create an individual service, provider, applicant, or employment relationship. It does not confirm eligibility, authorization, vendor status, coverage, capacity, staffing, an interview, employment, or a service start.
Providers and recipients
The website is hosted through the Sites platform on Cloudflare infrastructure. Direct email and restricted application storage are handled through RILC’s Google Workspace environment. The application uses a private Google Apps Script relay to place records in the approved restricted Drive folder and notify the fixed RILC Careers mailbox.
These providers may process limited technical or message information to perform hosting, verification, delivery, security, or email functions under their own terms and privacy notices. RILC does not currently sell website inquiry information, use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or provide it to data brokers.
Links to DDS, NBRC, RCEB, and other official sources open websites controlled by those organizations. Their privacy practices apply after a visitor leaves RILC’s website.
Retention and deletion
Unsubmitted entries remain in the browser only while the application page is open. After confirmed submission, the application record, résumé, optional professional certificate, factual review summary, and technical notification record are stored in restricted RILC Google Workspace.
RILC retains applicant records for at least four years from creation or the relevant personnel action, and longer only when required for a legal hold or another applicable obligation. RILC will apply a documented review and deletion process after the retention period. Direct email may remain according to lawful business, security, and operational needs.
Your choices and requests
A visitor may ask RILC to confirm whether a website inquiry is held, correct their own contact information, or request deletion of their own website message. RILC may need enough information to locate the message and verify the requester without asking for medical records or records about an individual. Requests remain subject to applicable law and any information RILC must retain for legitimate legal, security, or operational reasons.
RILC does not use nonessential analytics or advertising trackers and does not itself collect visitors’ activity over time across unrelated websites for advertising. RILC therefore does not currently take separate action in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals or Global Privacy Control.
For general California privacy information, visitors may review the California Attorney General’s privacy resources (opens in a new tab).
Protect your information
Do not send UCI or Social Security numbers, dates of birth, diagnoses, medication information, medical or IPP records, incident reports, identification, financial information, or background-check records. Do not email résumés or applicant street addresses; those belong only in the protected employment-application process.
The website is intended for adults and professional contacts and is not directed to children under 13. Do not email information about a child through these first-contact addresses.
No internet or email system can guarantee absolute security. RILC reduces risk by collecting only role-relevant information, accepting PDF files only, validating uploads before transfer, and limiting application access to the approved Careers process.
Questions, requests, and changes
For a website privacy question or request, email privacy@realindependencylivingcarellc.com. Include only your own general contact information and the approximate date of the message. Do not include confidential service records.
RILC may update this notice when the website, providers, forms, analytics, retention schedule, or applicable requirements change. A revised notice will be posted here with a new effective date. RILC will provide any additional notice required by applicable law before materially different practices are applied to information already collected.
This notice explains current website practices. It is not a representation that every RILC business record is governed by this website notice.
