Scope of these terms
These Website Notices describe lawful use and important limits for the informational website operated by Real Independency Living Care L.L.C. (“RILC”). They are not a service agreement.
These notices do not replace an IPP, Regional Center decision, authorization, rate agreement, service agreement, employment agreement, privacy notice for another business process, or applicable law. Viewing the site, sending a message, or receiving an automated receipt does not by itself create an individual service, applicant, or employment relationship.
General information only
The website explains RILC’s intended ILS and SLS approach, service pathways, boundaries, and general first-contact process. Content may change as regulations, operations, evidence, service areas, staffing, capacity, and approved programs change.
The website does not determine developmental-services eligibility, create an IPP, authorize funding or hours, confirm vendor status, establish geographic coverage, reserve staffing, guarantee capacity, make a placement, or promise a service start.
Service and professional boundaries
- ILS and SLS are nonmedical services and are not clinical treatment, therapy, or skilled nursing
- ILS and SLS do not provide jobs, placement, job coaching, vocational assessment, worksite training or supervision, employment retention, or Supported Employment
- SLS does not supply, own, or pay for a person’s home
- The website does not promise staff transportation, a schedule, a staffing ratio, or availability
- Information is not legal, medical, financial, benefits, housing, or emergency advice
When a need falls outside RILC’s scope, the person and planning team should consult the appropriate Regional Center, licensed professional, emergency resource, or separately authorized provider.
No emergency monitoring
Do not use the website, email, accessibility feedback, or talent-interest route for an emergency, urgent safety concern, crisis monitoring, incident report, or clinical direction.
Authorized SLS emergency preparation, backup planning, or direct assistance does not turn this website into an emergency service and does not replace 911, EMS, crisis systems, emergency departments, or clinical care.
Independent organization and official links
RILC is an independent California organization. It is not owned or operated by the California Department of Developmental Services, North Bay Regional Center, or Regional Center of the East Bay.
Official names, service codes, citations, and external links are provided to help visitors reach primary information. They do not by themselves prove RILC vendorization, authorization, coverage, availability, recommendation, partnership, accreditation, or endorsement. Institutional logos are not reproduced without a separate right of use.
Inquiries, receipts, and talent interest
The current website provides professional email links for minimal, general first contact and a protected employment-application process. The application validates the listed fields and PDF files, then sends a completed submission to restricted RILC Google Workspace recruitment storage. After confirmed receipt, the page displays a unique application ID and a separate acknowledgment is sent to the applicant email.
The application is not a promise that a current opening exists. No interview, assignment, schedule, location, qualification, screening outcome, compensation, benefit, or employment is promised by completing it.
General inquiry email links do not accept application files. Résumés and optional professional certificates belong only in the protected employment-application process.
Acceptable website use
Visitors may use the website to learn about RILC and make lawful, good-faith general inquiries. Visitors must not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security controls, introduce malicious content, impersonate another person, send information they are not authorized to share, scrape the site in a way that burdens service, or use RILC email addresses for spam, harassment, or emergencies.
RILC may restrict abusive requests, preserve limited security evidence, or refer unlawful activity when reasonably necessary. This does not authorize RILC to collect more information than described in the Privacy Notice.
Content, external sites, and changes
RILC website text, visual design, and original materials may not be republished as RILC-authorized content without permission. Third-party names, laws, standards, and materials remain subject to their respective owners and terms.
Some website images are digitally created illustrations. The people shown in those scenes are not RILC clients or employees, and the scenes do not document actual RILC service events or outcomes. RILC does not present a real person’s image as an individual service story without appropriate consent.
External links are provided for convenience and source identification. RILC does not control the availability, accuracy, accessibility, security, or privacy practices of an external website.
RILC may correct or update this website and these notices. Material changes are identified by the effective date. Changes do not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
